Snug Hugs for Kids needs mittens, hats, scarves, afghans, sweaters, blankets, socks, slippers, and booties to fit children from newborn to 18 years. They are having a Crochet and Knit-a-Thon on November 19 in Schaumburg. I have information at the store or go to www.merlins.com. Donations are due by December 6.
Linsey Obermeyer is doing The Red Thread Project in Chicago. She is collecting knit or crochet hats for a community art project. The hats will be donated to local charities. For info on participating, go to www.theredthreadproject.com.
