Rowan Closeouts

I now have in stock two closeouts from Rowan.  There are 30 skeins each of 3 colors of Big Wool Fusion.  I have had this yarn on closeout before, so I picked the 3 most popular colors to offer again.  This yarn is super chunky, very soft 100% wool, 87 yards on a skein.   A large coat can be made from about 8 skeins.  Also in is a yarn called Rowan Spray, 100% wool, 87 yards on a skein.  This is a variegated yarn which looks as if it has been sprayed with additional color after it was dyed.  The label says it knits 10 stitches to 4 inches.  There are 20 skeins each of 5 colors in stock.  They are both on sale for $10 a skein, about 40% off retail.

Free Class Series this summer

I will be offering a free class once a month on Monday evenings over the summer.  Check back in a couple of weeks to see what the June offering will be. 

Sock Class, Monday, May 12, 5-7 p.m., $15

Socks are a great project for the warmer weather.  They're small, easy to take on trips.  Get started on a pair in this class, either from the top down or the toe up.  Lots of great sock yarn to choose from.
